Trail Description

Located in London Grove Township, Chester County, the 120 acre site is a community park that is bisected by the Middle Branch of the White Clay Creek. It has over 3 miles of trails that connect to a network of trails throughout the southern part of the township. Within the park itself are paved and unpaved trails that traverse through a varied landscape of meadows, woodland and an active recreation site that includes a playhouse and dog park. The northern section of the park is accessible to the handicapped as it is fully paved with a gentle slope and has two loops. The rest of the trail system is easy to moderate difficulty although some of the stream crossings are challenging. By connecting to the three bordering developments it is possible to walk several miles to the east and west on paved trails. Goddard Park is ideal for walking, small scale hiking and biking. Horses and motorized vehicles are not allowed. It is a dawn to dusk facility. The park is owned and maintained by London Grove Township and was made possible with a donation by the Goddard family along with matching grants from the county and state.
