Trail Description

The planned route of the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail starts at Dobbins Landing at the Bayfront in Erie, follows roads through Erie into western New York, and works its way south to Oil Creek. It follows Oil Creek to the Allegheny River, then continues along the Allegheny River to downtown Pittsburgh. Trail development has often been challenging, but there is steady progress toward reducing or eliminating the remaining gaps. The Erie to Pittsburgh Trail is made up of the following established trails in Pennsylvania. The Corry Junction Greenway, East Branch Trail, Queen City Trail, Oil Creek State Park, McClintock Trail, Oil City Trail, Samuel Justus Trail, Allegheny River Trail, and Three Rivers Heritage Trail.
